Tucked in a small storefront on the always-bustling Lekka Street, Marketta is a small shop that packs big flavor into everything we cook. The ingredients are the best we can find in Greece, sourced locally. And a sandwich or salad at Marketta is not *just* a sandwich or salad: we employ techniques and methods that elevate our food beyond the expected, and we hand-make as much as we can - even the pickled onions are our own!

Where does all this passion for quality and good ingredients come from? It can all be traced back to owner Erica Cross’ experience in the restaurant industry. She’s been in food ever since she was 20, even during the university and while working on her Masters degree. “I don’t think I was ever in anything else,” she says.
