Eat Chic | Το Marketta είναι η νέα ενδιαφέρουσα άφιξη στο κέντρο της Αθήνας

Eat Chic | Marketta is the new interesting arrival in the center of Athens

By Maro Paraskavoudi, for Harpers Bazaar in Greece: The menu changes with the season, but all recipes include a strong combination of herbs, with the Mediterranean diet at their core. The olive oil comes from Crete, and Erica actually knows all about good oil, having attended several seminars about it in Liguria.

"I would describe the concept as slow fast food,” she explains. And indeed, at Marketta you can have a lunch break or grab takeaway, but everything is based on quality and raw material. They’re not just classic, boring salads, and the sandwiches combine flavor and nutrients thanks to Erica’s recipes (try the veggie with pickled vegetables, feta and boiled egg). The menu is ideally complemented by 6-7 wine labels, homemade lemonade, hibiscus tea (the most delicious I've ever had) and filter coffee (or cold brew depending on the season). Marketta was set up for these impromptu stops in the center, but if needed, it serves takeaway and delivery.
