Marketta: A cute new bistro in the center of Athens

For Olive Magazine: A new open-hearted shop with a small selection of quality snacks, a bright space, natural wines, and original salads has opened in Syntagma Square. Marketta's menu contains just a few distinct options, such as the Beetbouleh, for example, with grated beetroot, grains, fresh berries, and plenty of herbs; the salad with kale, lentils, orange, almonds, olives, and feta; and sandwiches such as the Guilty Pleasure, with thin chicken schnitzel fried in clarified butter, topped with radicchio leaves, endive and mayonnaise with ground capers; the vegetable sandwich with barrel-aged feta, boiled egg, herbs, etc.
